The aMazing Hedge Puzzle:

The aMazing Hedge Puzzle was the location for Episode 11 of BBC'sMerlin, filmed during the storm at the beginning of November. The wind blew the dry-ice mist away, but bad light added to the tension as Merlin secretly followed Arthur, only to be trapped by Anhora. The maze was massively expanded by CGI graphics, and blue-screen was used so that Arthur could exit onto a beach, where Arthur and Merlin sat on logs provided by our sister attraction, the Wye Valley Butterfly Zoo.

Wye Valley Butterfly Zoo:

Our new Butterfly Zoo has been awarded the title "Overall Winner, Midlands Best Small Attraction 2007/2008" by Going Places magazine. It is tremendous fun for everyone.

Wye Valley Miniature Golf:

This is a new 12 hole miniature golf course with a fantasy theme set around the ruins of a Roman farm villa. It is tremendous fun for everyone.

Tickets can be purchased from either the Puzzle shop or the Butterfly Zoo. Collect your clubs, balls and scorecards from the Butterfly Zoo.

Half price golf if you have purchased a ticket for The Maze or Butterfly Zoo.

Rose's Picnic Refuge now open:

Poor Weather? No worries! Rose's Picnic Refuge is the place to shelter when the weather is poor. Available inside are snacks, hot and cold drinks, and tuck. Rose's Picnic Refuge can also be used for Birthday Parties at the Maze and Butterfly Zoo.

The Tea Room:

The Tea Room now has available Childrens Boxes for £2.00 along with fine Home Made cakes and light lunches

Maze and Butterflies to open all year round:

The success of the Wye Valley BUTTERFLY ZOO brings good news for winter visitors to the Wye Valley. The aMazing HEDGE PUZZLE and Wye Valley BUTTERFLY ZOO are uniting to open both attractions every day of the year except Christmas Day and 1st January. The all-weather capability of the Butterfly Zoo is expected to remain popular even in the worst conditions, and the shops of the two attractions will also be combined to give an outstanding specialty shopping opportunity.

Butterflies are back - and Better:

The Maze Men acquired the old World of Butterflies building in January 2004, and have spent 6 months building a brand new experience inside: The Wye Valley BUTTERFLY ZOO. The new zoo marries the brothers' experience with the very latest butterfly husbandry techniques to make a superb new attraction for the area.

Fantastic Range of Activities:

The MazeDays menu of activities for booked groups has been refined for 2005. We've put all our experience into producing the best package yet, including juggling skill, mathematical activity and games just for fun.
