Road restrictions in the Symonds
Yat area
The B4164 gives excellent access as far as The AMAZING HEDGE PUZZLE from the A40 Trunk
Road.
Spectacular scenery makes driving
between the three settlements of Symonds Yat West, Symonds Yat East and
Yat Rock challenging. If in doubt, cross the River Wye using the B4229 at
Kerne Bridge (grid reference SO 591192) or via the A466 bridge at Monmouth
(grid reference SO 522127) and follow our recommended
direct route to The AMAZING HEDGE PUZZLE.

Mountain Rescue!

the unclassified cul-de-sac which is the only route to Symonds Yat East.
